The production chain of our slippers is based on supporting fair trade with local families, including women of Mapuche Huilliche origin from the Lakes Region, from the communes of Frutillar, Fresia, Alerce and San Juan de la Costa.
The shoes are 100% natural, so they can be recycled in composters when their time of use is over.
- Type of wool: In the Shoes we use a softer, Corriedale type sheep fleece, which we buy in Araucania and Punta Arenas.
- Spinning: The spinning of the wool is manually, it is done with a spindle or wooden distaff.
- Leather Sole: The leather we use is Salmon leather that is discarded from the processing plants, which is carefully washed several times with biodegradable products, and then dyed with low chrome dyes. The leather artisans manually incorporate this input.
