As some of you may know, the Andes Nativa team has been working from home and with reduced hours already for several months so far. We’ve been focusing on different tasks, adapting ourselves to the current situation, always with optimism and open-mindedness.
We’ve been carefully studying the preventive measures and instructions published by the Chilean Tourism Office (Sernatur) for the tourism operation that is to come. This set of measures include not only our own office and the safety procedures involved with the possibility of coming back to work there on-site, but also all of the special requirements concerning our clients, providers and future travellers.
We have obtained the “Confianza Turística” certificate from Sernatur, which stands for the compliance with health and safety protocols in order to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several providers have already acquired this stamp in our country, showing the willingness of the industry to operate safely, and we expect to use this as well as other indicators to select our suppliers.
We’ve been also constantly discussing with our local providers, asking for flexibility in terms of modification and cancellation of bookings for our customers, and will continue to do so. Please stay in touch with our team for more specifics on this matter.
We have prepared a summary of our measures and procedures for you to have a better understanding of what is involved: click here to see the pdf file.
